Course Overview

MUSICAL THEATRE PROFESSIONALS WANTED

ICMT Graduate, Gonzalo Campos as Aladdin in Aladdin

Are you someone who constantly auditions, gets close, but then you don’t book the job? There is probably a good reason.

This three -month professional course in musical theatre has been specially designed by professionals for professionals like you. Our programme will quickly identify your strengths and weaknesses to improve your success rate in this highly competitive industry.

The ICMT has worked closely with Casting Directors from the Industry to identify their needs. This course will polish the performers' skillset resulting in a higher success rate during castings.

The course takes place in Germany, home of the world’s third largest Musical Theatre Industry and will run out of the famous state-of-the-art studios at Stage Entertainment in Hamburg, which regularly casts and produces musicals all over Germany.

ICMT graduates are already employed in the German productions ‘Aladdin’, ‘Dirty Dancing’, ‘Hamilton’, and ‘Starlight Express’, proving their training works and so do their graduates.

This course is headed up by West-End Actor and Director, Kenneth Avery-Clark, and you will receive expert advice and training from Industry professionals from both Hamburg and London to help you make that leap.

Apart from daily dance, vocal and acting masterclasses, we offer one-to-one attention to work on the specific needs of the performer. At the end of the course, students will audition for Casting Directors in Hamburg.

Acceptance is by audition only and the first round is by video. Our team from London and Hamburg will review each video to find suitable candidates who will benefit from the course.
