This musical looks on the outside like a silly, ridiculous spoof on urine. When you look closer, you realise there is an important message by the end.
A topical message when it first opened on Broadway in 2001 and one that still resonates today (sadly).
I am so fortunate to have an incredible creative team, and the students have worked extremely hard to give you what you are about to see.
I give you the ICMT graduating class of 2022.
Enjoy the show!

Director
Urinetown is the culmination of 4 weeks of intense rehearsals, and each individual's journey as a performer to date is a showcase of craft and commitment to training.
It has been a privilege to lead this graduating year and diverse group of performers who, coming from across Europe, America, and the UK, all contribute to form the exciting cast (and college) we proudly have. It is a marker of not only the shifting circles of musical theatre but also of the ICMT leading the way in training post-covid.
I hope you enjoy their performances in this musical as much as I, and all staff, have enjoyed teaching, guiding, and watching them grow during their time at the ICMT.
